Host and Award Winning Author & Journalist GW Pomichter interviews Indie Student Filmmakers Alessandro Bonaiuto, Brett Twery and Abdul Elnajdi of Florida Tech Video Productions during Media Day in Melbourne Florida.

Florida Tech Video Productions, as it is so aptly named, is Florida Tech's own TV station and video production house. Despite general sentiments that engineers are purely right-brained, that biologists are only concerned with what's inside a cadaver and that mathematicians are purely cold and calculating, Florida Tech Video Productions remains the one and only place that students on a primarily technical campus can show off their creativity by video productions. We got started in the late 80's as simply a Friday night live news show in the campus auditorium (Gleason Performing Arts Center) and broadened our scope as VHS cameras, fondly known as 'shoulder mounted bazookas' became both popular and affordable. As the crew quickly gained support for their crazy antics with a video camera, we grew into what we are now--a school-wide film production house for all clubs and campus groups. After recovering from Hurricane Fay in 2008, we upped the ante by bringing in new equipment, new faces, and new ambitions.
