Retired NASA astronaut and United States Air Force Colonel Eileen Collins spoke to Patricia Harty in 2017 on the importance of Earth Day and taking care of the planet, as well as life on the International Space Station, where they recycle everything, including air and water, and it is powered 100% by solar energy.
