Helena Cochrane talks about astrophotography, deep space images, and women in space science. She is a 16-year-old astrophotographer from Scotland! She officially started deep space work in April 2020 but always had a huge interest in the moon and space. When she began the hobby, she started to realize how challenging it was! So, in the hope of being a help to others at the same time, she decided to set up a YouTube channel! Through this, she made connections with some leading telescope retailers (OPT and Highpointscientific) who couldn’t have been more supportive of her work (especially with the representation of women in science).
