We begin with the classic warrior departure from the loving Yuwa, and learn that their happiness was short lived. Yuwa is taken home and Ulaan is presumed dead.  

Yuwa mopes around her home for months, believing Ulaan to be defeated, but her chatty maids, while asking provocative questions, let it slip that things are not as she was told.  Yuwa runs to her father, where she discovers none other than Ulaan himself waiting.  

Yuwa learns the truth, Ulaan learns that Yuwa rescued his mother's robe, and they reunite to live happily ever after, of course.
