It wasn't meant to be a food-based afternoon, but after feeding our faces a platter of street tacos, we started talking about a pizza festival, ended with how to hold burgers, and along the way, we detoured through seedy bread, food science, and freeze-drying, then Segwayed into ironic ways to die (pun intended). Restaurant politics, black ice, and a couple of fast food icons were also mentioned, along with meat-based meat and a little carrot bukkake for your viewing pleasure.
