At The Feet Of Jesus We Have Authority and Heart Knowledge
Luke 10; Matthew 5:43-45
Jesus instructed 70 other disciples to go ahead of him and preach about him. He gave them authority and power over demons and the enemy. After they returned, Jesus gathered them for what seemed like a debriefing about their journey. A lawyer in the crowd tested him by asking what is needed to inherit eternal life. Jesus responded by telling a parable about the Samaritan, emphasizing the importance of showing love, compassion, and mercy even to our enemies, and putting the law or scriptures into practice from the head to the heart to the hands. Finally, Jesus emphasized the importance of sitting at his feet to learn from him and to be submissive. One other thing we can rejoice in the power He gives but rejoice more that that your name being recorded in heaven.
Today, I encourage you to be devoted to Jesus. He is the lover of our souls and desires for us to grow in him and serve humanity. Show love to him today and experience how he will increase your love to overflow.
