Samson was betrayed by a beautiful woman. David was hunted by Saul, and eventually by his own son. Job lost his family and fortune. All but one of the disciples was martyred. Paul wrote some of our most encouraging scripture was written by Paul in a prison cell.

It's no secret that God's people can and will experience pain and hardship.

But we must also realize that we can have true, authentic & unspeakable peace, even in the midst of hardship.
