Ben, and Davis open with a case study on NBA player Javale Mcgee and his foundation, JUGLIFE’s environmental justice work (0:35 - 6:45). This episode includes a discussion of athletes’ roles in real world issues and how our current times allow for social media activism to be as powerful and accessible as ever, especially for athletes who possess such large followings. Environmental Justice is also a main focus of this episode, and rightly so, issues of environmental justice and climate justice are as much of a threat as ever and Ben and Davis discuss how athletes have been and can get involved/make tangible change in the future.
