Today Craig and Jeanine talk about the Atkinson Resort & Country Club, they recently visited the course and share their feelings about the course and their overall experience at the Club.

The Club opened with nine holes in 1996 with the addition of the back nine coming later in 1998. In 2002 the 75,000 square-foot clubhouse opened featuring two restaurants, overnight guest rooms, and event facilities and in 2009 the nine-hole Par 3 course and Willowcreek Golf Academy were added.

 In 2015 the National Golf Course Owner’s Association awarded the Resort with National Course of the Year. The award is predicated on four factors: quality of the golf course, quality of ownership and management, outstanding contributions to the local community, and significant contributions to the game.

18 hole course is 6048 Yards and par 72.  Tips are 6580 yards

75.4 rating / 134 slope

Blacks, Green White Orange and Aqua.  Orange for women was 66.5 and 119 with a total of 5430 yards

9 Hole par 3 Course we played many times.  Good starter course for beginners

Willowcreek golf academy

Played with two great guys. 

Buying drinks from cart girls.  Lauren was one that was very nice and came by a couple times during the round

Had dinner outside on the patio afterward which was beautiful, and food was good too!
