Welcome to the 17th episode of Wild Society!

Between 1979 and 1981, two dozen children and four young adults were murdered in Atlanta. Evidence in the investigation led law enforcement to believe one killer could be behind every death. Unable to solve the cases, local, county and state law enforcement brings in the FBI, including famous criminal profiler John Douglas and Special Agent in Charge John Glover. A loud splash in a river eventually leads to the arrest and murder conviction of Wayne Williams. But many - to this day - don't believe Williams is the lone killer, or a killer at all.

Dancing can definitely be contagious, especially when a great song is on, but Choreomania takes this idea to the next level. In simplest terms, Choreomania is an outbreak of compulsive dancing, usually starting with one person and growing into the hundreds, lasting hours, days, weeks and even months. To this day, it’s not known if Choreomania was an actual illness or some kind of social phenomenon.
