McDaniel, an author, researcher, and doctor who focuses on education and representation in youth literature. Which is a really fancy way of saying that she cares about learning and characters in books a whole lot - as we all should! Breanna grew up in College Park and East Point, which makes Atlanta her home. And that makes sense because she wrote this book, Atlanta, My Home. How cool is that?
