Jerry Thomas is given credit for being the first bartender to write a book on technique and recipes. 
He traveled to promote it, did bar take-overs and thoroughly enjoyed the startender lifestyle.
That said, his book allowed bartender all over the country to learn the basics of the craft.
This podcast is a series of basic information all bartenders and novices should know by an infamous star you’ve never heard of!
