For years, they served as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor/Program Coordinator at a residential treatment facility, offering a beacon of hope to those seeking recovery. Their pursuit of a Master's in Social Work at the University of Alabama reflects their unwavering dedication, even if it led to an unexpected turn due to challenges with DHR and the board of directors.
