When surfing debuts next July in the Tokyo Olympics, Kanoa Igarashi will be one of the favorites to medal. While he’s U.S. born, he’ll compete for Japan where he’s already a star. He talks with ATR Editor Ed Hula about his life in surfing and getting ready for the 2020 Olympics.
