Attachment is a topic that occurred mostly in romantic relationships for me, yet exists in every form of relationship. Why? Because attachment is one of the basic instincts we have since we were babies.

Oftentimes negatively connotated, I just recently started to understand the actual purpose behind the urge to feel attached to the people I love, why I can´t stand the chance of losing someone I´m drawn to, and why more often than not, this kind of longing for attachment as an adult will not serve the purpose of keeping someone in one´s life.
