On June 20th, 451 AD, south of the city of Reims, the earth seems to shake. But in reality, it is a gigantic army gathering. Tens of thousands of horses pound the ground with their wild and menacing gallops. War cries resonate in the air. For several months, nearly half a million people have been flooding into Gaul, crossing the country from west to east. It is an entire moving nation that ravages everything in its path, looting cities, destroying fields, burning and annihilating. They are called the Huns, and the fear they inspire is limitless.
