Hennepin County prosecutors will stop seeking bail for people arrested for several low-level crimes. The crimes range from motor vehicle theft to low-level drug possession and the new policy goes into effect January 1st. An officer involved shooting took place last Saturday night in St. Paul. St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell said the force used was not "reasonable or necessary" and the officer has been fired.
