Here are some memories from meeting Atul Chitnis in December 2007. I shot the image of him here at the conference party at his home after the event. He was the first conference organizer who let me do a full session at a genuine Open Source conference. It was a huge opportunity for me. I was scared. He took me aside and calmed me down. I’ll never forget. He passed in 2013 but he still influences me today, especially when I think about how one person can change your path by simply offering an opportunity.
