Have you ever wondered why people end their prayers with amen? One of the definitions is, “Let it be.” When ending our prayers, as we see in this verse, we should praise God, not because He needs it, but because we do. When we ask for something, we should praise God to remind us of Who He is and then put our faith in agreement and say, “Amen.” This is certainly not the only way to pray, because prayer is just talking to God wherever you are.
