The casualty of fear is always love.  Jesus says the church will betray one another, hate one another, their love will grow cold.   My prayer is that we are ready with the love of God.  We may be the generation that lives out these verses.  Are we living in a day when this love will be needed?.  Is our community, our love for one another a bond the enemy cannot penetrate.  Jesus says to endure, remain in His love because he is coming for his bride and He is  coming soon.

Is the world trying to distract you with its stress, its hurt, its temporary shallow stuff?  Gaze instead somewhere else.  Gaze upon The King, this heavenly King, your King who is your friend.  Give him your attention, your look.  One day Jesus will return for us and take us home to live forever.  That's the gospel, it's worth being beaten, jailed, disliked.  It's the only thing worth living for.

Maybe you've been trying to help God see the benefits of your plan.  It makes great sense to you.  But you get the distinct impression that He's not buying what you're selling.  Be strenghtened in your faith today and simply relent your small ideas for His master plan. Just go with it.  Go with it because He is a God who makes a way when it seems there is none.
