The world is loud about who you “should” be, and it can slowly train you to think, feel, and even believe on command until your own life no longer feels like yours. We slow all of that down and turn inward, following a medicine woman and shamanic perspective on what it means to find balance and harmony within yourself so your life can change from the inside out. We explore the idea of internal counsel: the built-in set of advisors you were born with. Not just the intellect of the brain, but also the wisdom of the physical body and gut intuition, the intelligence of the heart and emotions, and the guidance of the soul and spirit. Using the four bodies of existence as a simple map, we talk about how to hear yourself more clearly and how to make decisions that feel aligned across mind, body, heart, and spirit. These themes connect directly to self knowledge, self empowerment, and self actualization, not as buzzwords but as lived practice. 

We also spend time with Hózhǫ́, a Navajo concept described as a way of being: walking in balance with yourself and, in turn, walking in harmony with the world around you. The conversation lands on a powerful truth many of us recognize: living by other people’s rules can look “right” from the outside while feeling wrong on the inside. The answer is not perfection, it is authenticity and the courage to return to yourself.
