Commandments, calendars and pamphlets

At the start of his career Plantin prints thousands of almanacs every year. Plantin makes good money from printing them. Unfortunately, not many almanacs or calendars have survived.

Plakkaten or official commandments give us a very nice look on daily life in Antwerp. They are commandments and prohibitions that are issued by the city and hung in public spaces.
