The first ever Seoul International Comedy Competition aims to crown comedic royalty in a three round bout that includes Koreans, local expat performers and comedians that are traveling from as far as the United States to perform. I spoke with event organizer Dan Wiberg about his show and the newly released list of performers. He will host the event at August 30th at Bull & Barrel in Itaewon:

July #2 Movie Reviews with Dean Crawford

GrooveCast host Chance Dorland sat down with vocalist Lauren Walker (often known by her onstage persona, Lewtrakimou), lo-fi mod-bassist Mark Lentz (who also has a strong presence under the stage name Henry Demos) and session drummer Jonathan Jacobson of "Nice Legs" to find out more about the expat band that has become the golden gam of the Yogiga family and Korea indie junket. Busking, live or in the studio, this is a band with three different identities and three different sounds, all of which are discussed while the band tells Chance how they got started and where they're going.
