Jesus was God walking on earth come to rescue us. The words He spoke would be absolute truth: I am the way - His lifestyle is the correct one. I am the truth - Those who are not taught truth become victims. I am the life - Life without Jesus is just existence and we will never be complete. His was a lifestyle of giving rather than getting. It is a lifestyle that brings ridicule and persecution. Refusing Jesus gets us on the wrong road, the wrong lifestyle. It is not an easy lifestyle but it brings an inner peace that the world cannot take away. Joined to Jesus we become all that He is. An offer too good to turn down.
