Of all the words with confused interpretation, no word can convey misinterpretations as much as the word "adult". You might think of "adult entertainment" as meaning something more intellectually stimulating than a cartoon show, while others will think in terms of sexual content. Or, a rebellious teen or "tween" might think of "adult" as meaning being allowed to do something that is currently forbidden such as drinking or partying late. And so, the idea of "spiritual adulthood" needs to be defined.

Once defined, we can see what it includes. And with that, we can see what spiritual adulthood can do for us.
