Sermon || August 17th

August 11th || Twefth Sunday After Pentecost

Listen Later

We are called to embrace spiritual warfare as a transformative journey within ourselves. Drawing from Ephesians, we're reminded that our true battle isn't against flesh and blood, but against the forces of wickedness that corrupt God's creation. We're encouraged to arm ourselves with truth, righteousness, and the power of the Holy Spirit. This isn't just abstract theology—it's a call to action in our daily lives. How can we speak truth, manage our anger, work honestly, and use our words to build others up? By viewing our spiritual journey through this lens of inner conflict, we're challenged to see every choice as an opportunity to strengthen our defenses against sin and align ourselves more closely with Christ's love.

Christ Church is an Episcopal church in South Tulsa, Oklahoma; we welcome all saints, sinners, and skeptics alike.
