In today's episode, the 64-officer mission set to fly to Greece in the early hours of Tuesday has been called off.

Government spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis said the Greek government has changed its request to the EU civil protection mechanism and now is asking for land and air support.

Meanwhile, Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar pilloried Nicosia for actions he said put the entire island's security at risk amid rising tensions in the Middle East, even accusing President Nikos Christodoulides of "placing his personal reputation" above all else.

Elsewhere, a group of around 60 delivery drivers from different companies gathered near Limassol’s old port on Monday to protest against the recent wave of violence against them.
