Find out more on the Peace Deal brokered by President Trump and his team here. Will Israeli still apply sovereignty over Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria - land that the Jewish State freed from Jordanian occupation in a war of self-defense in 1967? The issue of land and land rights remain a vital national security concern to the state of Israel.
As United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman stated on the normalization of relations between the United Arab Emirate, a rich, oil state in the Gulf, and Israel: "We put out a peace plan that contemplates that the Jews who live in Judea and Samaria, the Israeli citizens living in Judea and Samaria, will never be asked to leave their homes."
Meanwhile, Muslim leaders have consistently threatened Israel with genocide: "This will be a war of extermination... [and] will be a momentous massacre to be spoken of like the Mongolian massacre and the Crusades," so said the Secretary-General of the Arab League in 1948 when seven (7) Muslim armies marched against the fledgling state and these kinds of statements have been echoed by Muslim leaders going forward into the 21st century.
