Foundational health involves making sure individuals have enough energy running through their mitochondria to allow the body to thrive. 

Dr Eileen Karpfinger is a chiropractor and nutritionist who, after moving to the 43rd latitude of Wisconsin, found herself declining in health.  Pain, weakness, and a consistent observation that all that she had relied on to stay healthy was no longer working.
