August 2025 Timelapse: Launch Character Animation and NLA Experiment
August was a tough month for me. I had CoViD for the first two weeks, then I worked on the "LA-6-A" and "LA-6-B" shots in the "Launch" sequence, trying to add lipsync, expressive animation, and finally a "ride" animation incorporating vibration from the launch. However, I got tangled up with managing the Non-Linear Animation (NLA) Editor strips, and so I decided to do an experiment and record it.

In the end, the footage from the experiment was a bit too meandering, so I decided to re-record a shorter "NLA Demo", with a more directed approach. Still working on this in September.
