The episode opens with a wrong-number recording left on my voicemail at 6:33AM the day after we recorded this. I’m still not sure what it says or who it was intended for. I almost deleted this episode because of all the traffic noise and our lack of topic, but in the end decided it made a cool diary time capsule. Ashley and I walk to Starbucks to temporarily subdue her sugar/caffeine cravings. (Hop off the thought train, Ashley! We observe our thoughts, we are not our thoughts!) On the way, we discuss being self-conscious, observe some local tweakers, hear some hummingbirds making UHF sounds, and get freaked out by my mortal enemy: the neighbor Shetland Sheepdog.
