When you express your anger, you're not opening the door for a possible solution to come through. That door is sealed and won't open until you learn to explain your anger. This is going to require you to be vulnerable and use I statements. Don't use a you statement because it's accusatory and will just cause the other person to dig deeper into their trench and most likely won't fix anything.
So when you feel angry, try to explain why you're angry and how certain actions make you feel. If the other person can't handle a peaceful interaction, then do you really need that person in your life? The idea overall is that we want to find solutions to the argument and going at it through an explanation, will be more beneficial to everyone.
