Popeye, The Sailor Man, was frequently heard to say 'I yam what I yam.' Yes, each of us are just what we are: nothing more, nothing less. Yet, as evidenced in the Bible, God selects plain, ordinary people, for his work. Look at Moses, look at the apostles, look at Paul, and so many others. Each of these people had questions and wondered why God was calling them. Yes, you are what you are. Are you overlooking what God is asking you to do? Are you concerned that you aren't qualified to carry on God's work. God doesn't always call the qualified, but He does qualify the called; He is always with us.
