"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for the orphans and the widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world” (James 1:27). Our faith is about a relationship with God who loves us. Jesus does not intend to change any of God’s commandments. Rather, he wants us to discover their deeper meaning for our lives and how they can help us live the abundant life he wants for us."
