Moses continued to doubt his effectiveness. What does God ask him to do?
What do you think Moses’ feelings/emotions are
during God’s wonders? How must it have
been to actually hear God’s voice?
God gave Moses a final command to carry out if the
Egyptians did not believe him. He was
told to take water from the Nile, pour it on the ground and see the water
become blood.
As merciful and gracious as God is, he did not
want his people suffering affliction and persecution and took drastic
measures.
God expected Moses to be obedient. He calls us to be obedient as well.
As you reflect on God’s grace and mercy, what
steps can you take to become more obedient?
Pray for The Holy Spirit to direct your mind,
thoughts, actions, and words as you strive to decrease yourself and increase in
God.
