August 31st - If you would convince a man that he does wrong, do right. But do not care to convince him. Men will believe what they see. Let them see.

No one likes a hypocrite and your actions will be more valuable to change the world than actually telling people to change. If you want your kids to read more, then you should read more in front of your kids. If you want your kids to be more active, be active with them. Take them on a bike ride or hike. People don't want to be lectured on what to do. It has to be their idea. Once you find out that you can't change people, you can only set an example, a lot of stress will fall off your shoulders because you just have one less thing to worry about.

Just set the example and do things that make a good person. If you do this, then other folks will follow.
