1. In our prayer, we asked God to remind us that following Him brings us the greatest joy we can find here on earth. Have you ever felt that? Sometimes, we admit it can be hard to remember that. And yet, when we do, we find a sense of peace and joy. We encourage you to find time to reflect on this truth today.
2. Our prayer also talks about how we try to fill our voids with things that aren’t fulfilling. What have you tried to fill yourself with which hasn’t worked?
3. Our reading of the Word in James shares that “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach…” (James 1:5 ESV). Do you know you can confidently come before Him and ask him to fill any lack? Your prayer will be answered, but it may not be instant. Yet, His presence and goodness and promise to provide is there. What lack do you need God to fill today? How can you spend time with Him this week to learn how He meets that lack?
