Whelp, it's August. Prepping for the new academic year is typically associated with busyness and exhaustion, especially for supervisors. Yes, you need to get all the things ready for your students, but when the stress gets too high it triggers your sympathetic nervous system - aka fight or flight. When that happens, your ability to think critically, respond appropriately, and bring your best go out the window. In this episode, we talk about how important it is to manage your stress NOW and a tool to do that, so you can give your students the best experience possible.
