Following the opening chapter of 2026, August Artier returns to Serialism Records with “Lo-Fi Tales” his third release on the label.

The Italian/Australian artist, now based in Barcelona, continues to shape his distinctive sonic identity, blending UK breaks, house, and raw 90s textures into a refined yet exploratory sound. The EP moves through a more experimental and cinematic space, where dusty grooves meet elegant sound design.

“Lo-Fi Tales” unfolds as a collection of intimate sketches, warm, and deeply expressive, embracing the beauty while maintaining a strong identity on the dancefloor.

With broken rhythms, textured layers, and subtle melodic touches, August Artier delivers a record that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking, a natural evolution within Serialism’s sonic universe, where function meets character, and groove meets emotion.

The artwork once again comes from Fernanda Mattos, whose signature collage aesthetic adds a tactile, almost nostalgic visual layer that perfectly mirrors the EP’s lo-fi soul and refined elegance.
