Augustine says the tension between Divine Will and human will is increasing and the separation from God is saddening. God's blessings are like seeds being planted within us that will sprout when there is a need for them.

The way that Mother Earth must cleanse herself is severe. Nothing will harm us if we are in alignment with God. We must set aside ambivalence and those parts that question and doubt. Pray intently to discern God's Will and guidance.
