In this episode, Superintendent Matsuda interviews Sycamore Junior High School's Band Director and VAPA Department Chair Rich Gordon. Mr. Gordon has been the band director at Sycamore Jr. High School since 2002, and he has taken great pride in developing a well-rounded music program at Sycamore. Under Mr. Gordon's direction, the Sycamore band has earned several awards including 3 American Drum Line Championships and 4 Unanimous Superior Rankings for the advanced band classes.
