My name is Jordan Robinson and this podcast is about me, my family, and my discovery of our untold life stories, struggles and legacy. 

We aren't rich or famous.  We aren't owners of land passed down by our ancestors. We weren't born with financial trusts made in our names. 

But we are here and we matter.

We work hard. We love hard. We take care of our own. We take chances and make bold choices. We break the mold and fight against the grain. 

Some of us are pioneers away from home. Some of us are artists and musicians. All of us accept our truths and we’ve learned to live a life worth living and never give up.

Of all of the things we may or may not be, one thing will never change. 

We are a Black American family
