Aurora Police Chase Stolen Car, 3 Suspects Apprehended

On February 4, Aurora police pursued a stolen vehicle after a Flock camera alert. CBS News reports the car struck a median near Boiling Drive and North Hannibal Street, becoming airborne before crashing. Three suspects fled on foot into nearby backyards but were apprehended. According to Aurora Police, Angelo Munguia, 18, faces charges of felony menacing, obstructing a peace officer, violation of a protection order, and motor vehicle trespass; Watti Heng, 18, faces motor vehicle theft and obstructing a peace officer; a juvenile faces related charges. All in custody.

Earlier that week, Hudson Police Department arrested two suspects during a traffic stop linked to an Aurora Police attempt-to-locate for burglary. CrimeWatch reports a 35-year-old male booked into Weld County Jail on possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, and burglary.

No additional criminal incidents reported in Aurora for the previous week.
