National Weather Service meteorologist Jason Runyen said the storms are likely to be the only rain Central Texas will see through at least the remainder of the week. Nothing in the forecast for the next seven to 10 days indicates any tropical activity that could bring rain, either. Today’s forecast, though, called for a slight chance of rain in the morning.
