Good morning, it's Friday morning, July 20. I'm Valikia Newsome, and here's your local news from the Austin American-Statesman. Forecasters issued a heat advisory for Travis and Williamson counties, and are warning Central Texas residents about dangerously high temperatures from 2 to 8 p.m. today. Meteorologists expect to see temperatures peak at 105 degrees. The night will cool down, with clear skies, and a low around 76. Scorching temperatures, however, will continue through the weekend.
