Our top story is: Caldwell County prosecutors have dropped charges against a pair who officials say shot and injured a sheriff’s deputy in February 2018. 54-year-old Kimberly Moore and 33-year-old Eduardo Padilla were indicted after the shooting on a deadly conduct charge. They were accused of shooting Deputy Jay Johnson multiple times on the morning of February 2, 2018.
