It’s Friday, May 10th. I'm Kyle Sauerhoefer, and here's your local news from the Austin American-Statesman. Our top story is: A landslide on the west side of Shoal Creek, between 24th Street and Shoal Creek Boulevard, shifted and could cause flooding in the area, officials with Austin’s Watershed Protection Department warned. The movement caused debris to partially block Shoal Creek, creating a flood risk as rain continues today and tomorrow for Lamar Boulevard and nearby buildings.
