A new “mini-boardwalk” quietly opened this week on the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail. Officials with the non-profit Trail Foundation said the gently curved, 172-foot stretch of elevated trail beneath the Ann Richards-Congress Avenue Bridge is ahead of schedule and under budget.
