1. Always be READY to give a DEFENSE

1. We need God’s PEOPLE

When Sharing Christ:

1. RESPECT the people you are trying to reach

2. Build a BRIDGE to the Gospel

3. Don’t WATER down the Gospel

4. Leave the RESULTS to God

Why be baptized?
-To IMITATE Jesus
-To OBEY Jesus

Baptism is raising your FLAG for Jesus Christ

Humility REDIRECTS the glory to Christ

Idolatry ROBS the glory of Christ

Followers of Jesus will face RESISTANCE

Followers of Jesus must have PERSISTENCE
-Persistence TESTIFIES
-Persistence SANCTIFIES

Acts 13:1–2

A. Antioch was a church marked by Diversity.
B. Antioch was a church marked by gifted Leaders.
C. Antioch was a church marked by active Worship.

A. The call came from the Holy Spirit.
B. The sending was carried out by the Church.

The church at Antioch sent out Paul and Barnabas.

1. The Church recognizes Missionaries
2. The Church prays for Missionaries
3. The Church sends Missionaries

1. Through Prayer
2. Through Financial Support
3. Through Hospitality
4. Through People

God has to do something IN us before He can do something THROUGH us
