We flew halfway around the world to the Australian sun, only to spend an entire episode letting our British flags fly by doing what we do best: talking about the weather.
In this episode, we are leaning into our true heritage because the climate in the Kimberley is giving us plenty to gossip about. We are currently right in the middle of the massive seasonal transition phase, watching the landscape shift from the wild Wet season into the unforgiving Dry.
The change has been brutal and brilliant. In a matter of weeks, we’ve gone from sweating through our clothes 24 hours a day to literally shivering our way through the outback evenings. One minute you're melting, the next you're hunting for a jumper in the middle of the desert.
The weather in this region isn't just a topic of casual conversation—it is dramatic, powerful, and genuinely dangerous. Living through this shift forces you to respect the ancient land you are walking on that little bit more. You realize very quickly that out here, nature dictates the rules, and we are just along for the ride.
Trusting Divina to lead the way—even if she occasionally leads us straight into a climate that leaves us sweating at noon and freezing by midnight.
